ACCESS Ankara

The annual general meeting of IACES was hosted by LC METU at the Middle Eastern Technical University in Ankara from October 8th to October 15th 2023. Although representatives from not all LCs were able to attend, it was an impressive demonstration of the size and diversity of IACES with over 70 participants. For many participants it was the first event with GAR, the General Assembly of Representatives, where we learned a lot about the work of the General Board and the individual LCs of the past year. In the end we elected the next GB and voted on the location for the next ACCESS (Lisbon) and the next Press Center.

The second half of the event was then dedicated to the city of Ankara and its many sights, as well as Turkish food and extensive partying.

We would like to thank LC METU for organizing this huge event and wish the new General Board good luck and success in their work.

Finally, we would like to thank all participants for all the great memories we were able to make at this unforgettable event!
