Thessaloniki

The exchange “Cities with no Limits” took place in Thessaloniki in Greece from 22.05.22 to 29.05.22. During this week we, an international group of group of about 40 civil  engineering students and alumni, gained insights into the modern and ancient  architecture of Greece.
The professional program included lectures from the various departments of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, a workshop on electromobility and a tour of a cement plant. Of  course, the program also included visits to museums of Greek antiquity and a visit to the beach. Particularly impressive in Thessaloniki is the interplay of historical architecture, archaeological excavations and modern archaeological sites and modern buildings.
