Delft
From April 24th to 28th, we were able to take part in the second exchange of the year in Delft in the Netherlands.
The first two days were used to get to know both the participants and the city, with the International Night, a concrete workshop in the university laboratories and a tour of Delft on the program.
On the third day, we took the train to Amsterdam in the morning, where we first visited the construction site of an underground bicycle parking garage in the center of the capital under one of the many canals and then explored the rest of the city. For dinner we went to The Hague, where we then celebrated the national holiday of the Dutch, the so-called King's Day, on several stages spread throughout the city.
The next day, the whole country was dressed in orange and we were able to continue celebrating on the canals of Leiden, spread over two boats, with lots of beer and music.
After this absolute highlight of the exchange, we had to say goodbye the following day, but we are very grateful for the unforgettable event and are already looking forward to seeing all the participants again.
