Xanthi

The motto of this year's exchange in Xanthi, Greece, was Point Break. Two students from the Karlsruhe LC took part and received a very warm welcome. Most of the international guests were accommodated with members of the LC Xanthi, which gave them a good insight into local student life.
The program included visits to various university research institutes, a bridge-building competition and a guided tour of Xanthi. They also spent a day in one of the largest nature reserves in Greece, which they explored by kayaking and hiking, among other things. Afterwards, they had a barbecue at a scout hut and spent the night there. The excursion ended with a visit to Alexandroupolis.
As is customary at every exchange, the "International Dinner" was a must and so there were dishes and drinks from Romania, Turkey, Greece and, of course, Germany.
As always, the week went by far too quickly and we are already looking forward to seeing our new Greek friends again!
