Delft

From May 28th to June 2nd 2023, LC Delft invited us to their event “Water under the bridge”. The rather small event with only 9 international participants started with a game to get to know each other, during which we explored the city in teams.

Some of the highlights of the next few days were a visit to the construction site of the “Blankenburgverbinding”, an impressive highway link with a tunnel that will run under the entrance to the port of Rotterdam, and a day trip to Amsterdam.

In Delft, we spent the whole week on bicycles lent to us by our hosts, which means we can understand the good reputation of the Dutch cycling infrastructure now.

On Friday the event ended with a boat tour through the canals of Delft.
