Prefabricated Concrete Plant Harsch

On April 28th, together with the construction student council, we went to Gondelsheim to the Harsch company, which invited us to visit its precast concrete plant.

The welcome was entitled “Production according to lean management approaches”. We were given the most relevant facts and figures as a basis for our tour of the production halls and warehouse.

During the tour, we were then shown the various ways in which components are manufactured and the logistics behind the production process. In addition, the entire process and the savings resulting from the applied lean management were explained to us.
