Lean Construction in Rheinstetten

On November 25th, we had the pleasure of visiting the Harsch company on their construction site in the "Neue Stadtmitte" in Rheinstetten together with the Fachschaft-Bau. Here, on construction site B3, 12 terraced houses and 2 semi-detached houses are currently being built using lean construction approaches (LCA).

First of all, the individual processes of the LCA used were explained to us using the clock board used on site and we were given comprehensive information on how the Harsch company applies this concept on its construction site from the shell construction to the handover of the keys.

Afterwards, we were given a guided tour of three of the apartment buildings. Here we were able to see the individual construction progress and differences in the apartments and observe the implementation of lean construction.
